1. Commitment

1.1 We are committed to providing a safe working environment for staff, clients, and visitors, in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic).

2. Responsibilities

  • Management is responsible for ensuring compliance with WHS standards, providing training, and maintaining safety equipment.
  • Staff must follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and report hazards.
  • Clients must provide safe access to premises and notify us of hazards (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, broken fixtures).

3. Safe Work Practices

Staff will not perform tasks that present health or safety risks, including but not limited to:

  • Handling hazardous chemicals not provided by us.
  • Operating outside their training or competence;
  • Lifting excessively heavy items.

4. Incident Reporting

  • Any accidents, injuries, or near misses must be reported immediately.
  • Incident records will be maintained, and corrective measures implemented.

5. Continuous Improvement

We regularly review and update WHS practices to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
